Employee stole 2,380 gold rings from owner
Luong Thi Nhung, 28 years old, is said to have admitted to stealing about 2,380 gold rings, worth nearly 5 billion VND, from the gold shop owner during more than 1 year of working.
Nhung was detained by Dong Xoai City Police (Binh Phuoc) to investigate her behavior.Theft of property,September 16

Previously, the owner of Kim Huong 1 gold shop in Tan Binh ward, Dong Xoai city, reported the loss of many pieces of jewelry, suspecting that employee Luong Thi Nhung took them.
According to the investigation agency, when Nhung was invited to interview, she admitted that since August 2020, she had stolen gold from the counter she managed many times. Each time, she took 5-8 18K gold rings, asked others to sell them or pawn them at other gold shops, and then gave the money to her husband to keep.
Searching Nhung's residence, the police found many documents related to the theft along with some jewelry that the suspect claimed to have.ormolu.
The case is under further investigation.
