Japan: Horrific Avalanche Buries 8 High School Students
Japan is now prioritizing the rescue of avalanche victims at the Nasu Onsen resort.
Japanese local authorities said that so far, 8 students have died and 30 others were injured after an avalanche occurred on the morning of March 27, at the Nasu Onsen resort near Tokyo, Japan.

The avalanche occurred when more than 60 students and teachers were participating in a spring climbing event. Rescuers actively deployed rescue measures to search for those still missing.
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said the government will do its utmost to respond to the disaster, while prioritizing the rescue of victims in rescue operations./.
