(Baonghean.vn) - Accidentally picking up a wallet on the street, Traffic Police Major 1.48 (belonging to the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Province) contacted the person who dropped it and returned it.

On June 4, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Anh Tuan - Captain of Traffic Control Patrol Team 1.48 (Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Province) said that an officer at the unit had just picked up a wallet containing nearly 15 million VND and some other foreign currency. All of it has been returned to the owner.
Previously, at around 7:00 p.m. on June 2, Major Nguyen Xuan Vinh - Deputy Head of Traffic Control Patrol Team 1.48 (located in Dong Hieu Commune, Thai Hoa Town) returned to Vinh City for work. While traveling on Mai Hac De Street (Vinh City), Major Vinh discovered a black leather wallet that had fallen on the side of the road and immediately stopped to pick it up. A preliminary inspection found that inside the wallet there was a lot of money and documents bearing the name Pham Hong Son, born in 1959, residing in Block 5, Quan Bau Ward, Vinh City, Nghe An.

Immediately afterwards, Major Nguyen Xuan Vinh reported to the leader to contact the person who lost the wallet and documents to return them.

After contacting Mr. Son, on the afternoon of June 3, at the headquarters of Traffic Police Team 1.48, the wallet owner and a representative of the Quan Bau Ward government, Vinh City were present to receive the lost property, including 14.8 million VND in cash, 6,000,000 Indonesian currency, 6,000,000 Lao kip, and 1 car driver's license.
