This law consists of 10 articles, notably the law allows immigrant workers to stay long-term (5 years) in Japan.

Despite many objections, on December 8, the ruling coalition of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe passed a new law (the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Law), allowing the country to accept more foreign workers to solve the country's long-standing labor shortage.

According to Nikkei, the passage of this law is a dramatic turning point to solve the long-standing labor shortage in Japan. This law consists of 10 articles, notably the law allowing immigrant workers to stay long-term (5 years) in Japan.

Accordingly, the Japanese government plans to accept 345,000 foreign workers in the coming time. Specifically, according to this new labor acceptance policy, there are 14 approved occupations this time including: agriculture, nursing, manufacturing, food processing, construction, shipbuilding, hotel industry, restaurant, fishing, building cleaning, machine manufacturing, electronics, automotive engineering, aviation, and material processing.

Japanese labor experts in Vietnam analyze to solve the shortage of human resources in the country. The government decided to change the policy. Accordingly, specific skill number 1 during the 5-year working period in Japan cannot sponsor family. But when extended through specific skill number 2, there is the possibility of sponsoring family to Japan.

Thus, in addition to the current internship program and receiving highly skilled workers, the opening of this new labor receiving policy will provide skilled and talented workers in Vietnam with many opportunities to work in Japan long-term.

Previously, Mr. Le Long Son, Director of Esuhai Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City), was invited by the Japanese National Assembly to give his opinion on the Law on Immigration Management and Asylum Acceptance. This is the second time Mr. Son has been invited to speak before the Japanese National Assembly.

In particular, Mr. Son commented that the trainee program is currently being operated very well under the management and control of Japan and Vietnam. Therefore, Mr. Son proposed that with this new program, the Japanese government should also sign a cooperation regulation between the two countries so that the Vietnamese government can control and manage the selection and training process legally and strictly before workers enter Japan to work; at the same time, control and select reputable companies to participate in sending workers to work in Japan.

In addition, Mr. Son also suggested that the Japanese government should confirm and closely cooperate with Vietnam for those who want to participate in this new program.

In fact, in Vietnam, there are many people who want to go to Japan to work. When the new program is approved, the number of people who want to participate will increase. They will probably find every way to go to Japan. If they cannot go legally, they will probably find every way to go through illegal brokers and brokers. Bad human resources will go to Japan.
