On March 9, 2022, the authorities of Tan Ky town, Tan Ky district, said that a drowning accident had just occurred in the area, causing 1 death. The victim was Mr. D.AK (born in 1979), residing in block 6.
According to initial information, at around 6:30 p.m. on March 8, 2022, Ms. L. (Mr. K.'s wife) and the maid took their children to eat along the Thuc Pham dam right behind their house.

The child unfortunately slipped and fell into the dam. Ms. L. jumped in to save the child, the maid called for help. Hearing the screams, Mr. K. and two neighbors jumped in to save them. However, by the time Ms. L., the child and the two neighbors were safely ashore, Mr. K. was exhausted.
Because the water was deep, it took a long time for Mr. K. to be brought to shore. Immediately afterwards, people took Mr. K. to the Tan Ky District Medical Center for emergency treatment, but unfortunately he did not survive.
Currently, family and relatives have organized Mr. K's funeral according to local customs./.
