(Baonghean.vn) - Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An Province Nguyen Thanh Hien said that many corruption cases stem from the management of cadres, so in addition to the Party organization doing a good job in managing Party members as it is doing now, the State must tighten economic management and the functional apparatus to advise on judicial issues to continue fighting.

Voters are confident and excited after the session

After listening to the representative of the provincial National Assembly delegation introduce and emphasize some contents of the 8th session that voters were very interested in, many opinions directly expressed at the conference by voters of Nghi Trung commune expressed their confidence and excitement at the results achieved at the session, highly appreciating the quality of questions and answers of ministries, branches and the Government.

Voter Tran Van Phong said that the Politburo, the Party and the State have handled the East Sea issue very well in recent times. “As a Party member myself, I have great confidence in the Party and State’s guidelines and policies. Through information channels, including district and commune reporters, I and other voters feel very confident and excited,” said Mr. Phong.

Resolving voters' concerns about anti-corruption work

Receiving the opinions raised by voters at the conference, delegate Nguyen Thanh Hien - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation thanked the majority of voters for their attention to the general situation of the country, as well as the issues on the National Assembly forum.

Discussing specifically the issues that voters are concerned about, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hien affirmed that corruption is a big problem, and recently General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and the Party Central Committee have shown great determination, focusing on proposing many measures to solve it.

“Voters are right to be concerned, because every day in the press we see cases related to corruption, loss, waste, even trillion-dollar cases, and we are currently continuing to handle 12 major projects of the industry and trade sector. All of these cases stem from issues related to the management of cadres, so in addition to the Party organization doing a good job of managing Party members, the State must tighten economic management and the functional apparatus to advise on judicial issues to continue to fight,” the delegate said.

The Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation also added that not only Nghi Trung voters but also voters from many other localities across Nghe An province have expressed great concern about the work of preventing and combating corruption, and the National Assembly Delegation will absorb and continue to make recommendations for the National Assembly to pay attention to.

Regarding the situation in the East Sea and the country's sovereignty, the provincial National Assembly delegation noted that many voters highly appreciated the approach and handling of this issue, both consolidating legal evidence and being proficient in combat measures, and participating well in world forums so that the world can understand the situation in the East Sea.

Regarding the regime for redundant cadres after the merger in localities, the National Assembly delegate affirmed to voters that the Central and provincial governments will soon have specific instructions on this issue, specifically analyzing the subjects. Regarding the reflection of many voters, especially veterans, expressing dissatisfaction with the negative public opinion statements of some individuals, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hien said that the Ministry of National Defense and relevant agencies have a process to review and will handle it in accordance with the provisions of the law, ensuring peace for the people.
