Many targets in implementing the Resolution of Women's Congresses at all levels in Nghe An were achieved and exceeded.
On the morning of July 16, the Provincial Women's Union held a mid-term review conference on the implementation of the Resolution of the 16th Provincial Women's Congress, term 2021 - 2026 and the 13th National Women's Congress, term 2022 - 2027.

Women put resolutions into practice
During the past half term, the association at all levels actively innovated the content and methods of operation, thereby improving the quality of association activities from the grassroots level, while at the same time, doing a good job of caring for the lives and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of women and children.
The implementation of the Resolution of the 16th Provincial Women's Congress and the 13th National Women's Congress has gone into depth, creating a strong spread among women of all walks of life with many good models and practices from practice.
The work of participating in Party building, political system, supervision and social criticism has many innovations, contributing to protecting the Party's ideological foundation.

Up to now, 8/8 clusters of indicators registered to implement the Resolution of the 13th National Women's Congress and 10/10 clusters of indicators set by the Resolution of the 16th Provincial Women's Congress have all met and exceeded the annual targets. Many indicators have exceeded the entire term.
Notably, the campaign "Building a family of 5 no's, 3 clean's" has contributed to fostering Vietnamese family values and changing the face of rural and urban areas. Up to now, 5,115 households have met the criteria of "family of 5 no's, 3 clean's", "family of 5 yes's, 3 clean's", exceeding the annual target.
The association at all levels has diversified the forms of mobilizing resources for social security work. Diversified activities to support women in economic development, creative start-ups; focused on building, maintaining and replicating collective economic models; focused on capacity building.
Gathering members, women, especially paying attention to attracting honorary members, ethnic and religious members, female workers, and women with disabilities is being carried out synchronously.

During the half-term, women's unions at all levels helped 2,297 households escape poverty; improved capacity for 3,117 women; supported 1,222 women to start businesses; established 81/110 collective economic models (exceeding and achieving the annual target).
Build 189 new shelters for poor women with especially difficult circumstances (minimum support of 40 million VND/shelter (exceeding the target set for the entire term).
Increase by 56,535members; 310/460 establishments gathered over 60% women (achieving and exceeding the term target).
100% of branch heads are trained; 94.8% of establishments have computers, 99.35% have printers; 100% of full-time association officials at all levels are proficient in software (exceeding the annual and half-term targets).
Continue to maximize the role of women
Speaking at the conference, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Ngoc Kim Nam and Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union Nguyen Thi Thu Hien acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements in the women's movement and the union's tasks of Nghe An province in the past half term.

At the same time, emphasize some important contents in the coming time, such asFocus on directing the good implementation of the emulation movement "Building Nghe An women of the new era: Having knowledge, morality, health, aspirations to rise up; having responsibility for themselves, their families and the Fatherland"; have solutions for each cadre, member and woman to clearly understand and grasp the content of the emulation movement, thereby actively practicing and implementing the criteria in a practical way.
At the same time, the Women's Union at all levels of Nghe An province needs to closely follow the National Strategy on Gender Equality, proactively coordinate with the Provincial Committee for the Advancement of Women, relevant departments and branches to advise on the implementation of gender equality goals and targets in the locality.

Regularly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of women, have solutions to improve the quality of association activities, focus on building a strong association organization, operating professionally and effectively with the motto“"Where there are women, there are association activities"; pay attention to building and expanding models of gathering and attracting women suitable for each target, region, and area to participate in organizing associations.

Importantly, it is necessary to continue focusing on promoting the effective implementation of national target programs, Government projects and local programs and projects, contributing to the successful implementation of local socio-economic development goals.
