(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of February 27, hundreds of demobilized soldiers began to register for admission to Vocational College No. 4 - Ministry of National Defense. On the first day in the new environment, the soldiers brought with them excitement and hope...

Many career options

At just after 7am, Mr. Phan Van Tien and his son traveled more than 50km from Duc Tho district (Ha Tinh) toVocational College No. 4 - Ministry of National Defenseto complete the admission procedures for their children. Here, the father and son went straight to the Faculty of Automotive Technology and were consulted by the faculty staff about the training major, admission time and preferential policies for discharged soldiers.

His son himself has just completed 2 years of training at the division, so he is very excited about this program: Before completing training at unit C23, F324, he was consulted by the school and chose to study automotive technology. His family has always supported him because during his high school years, he studied well and worked hard. After returning from the army, he became more mature and decisive, and I believe in his decision, Mr. Tien shared.

After a short Tet holiday, Luong Van Linh from Muong Noc commune (Que Phong) - who had joined the army at a unit in Do Luong - also said goodbye to his family to complete the admission procedures on the first day of enrollment.

Although I come from a place far from the city center, I was quite confident in the process of completing the procedures, because from the moment I stepped into the school gate, learned about the admission information and registered for admission, I was enthusiastically advised by the teachers at the school. Personally, I also feel that I have become more mature and thoughtful after 2 years of military service and I believe that my choice of vocational training is correct.

I decided to enroll in Vocational College No. 4 - Ministry of National Defense because the school is a reliable address for vocational training and job creation, especially for demobilized soldiers. I myself have also carefully researched the training professions and I believe that, after studying here, I will have the conditions to develop myself and have a stable job after graduation...

Before enrolling, this Thai ethnic student also said that his family was a farmer, his parents only lived by farming, so life was still difficult. However, he was not too worried because he received support according to the policy for demobilized soldiers. Moreover, he had some savings from the military support fund, so he would spend all the money to cover his studies and living expenses at school.

Automotive technology is one of the majors chosen by many students. This is also a key major, approaching the world level of the school and is invested in both facilities, teaching equipment, and teaching staff.

Effective “output”

On the first day of enrollment, in parallel with the career counseling, Vocational College No. 4 - Ministry of National Defense also conducted job counseling and labor export. The first time coming to school and bringing along his two nephews who were soldiers who had just left the army before Tet, Mr. Tran Tuan Khang (Hong Linh town - Ha Tinh province) said: Both of my nephews chose the mechanical engineering - welding major and if they studied at the elementary level, they would only need to study for 10 months to complete the program. Therefore, after registering for admission, we came here to learn about job opportunities and labor export opportunities after graduation.
