Many job opportunities for workers in Nghe An.
On the morning of October 13th, in Thai Hoa ward, the Nghe An Employment Service Center, in coordination with the Overseas Labor Center, organized a job fair for job seekers and those who have completed their overseas employment contracts and returned home.
Attending the program were Mr. Le Manh Hung – Deputy Director of the Center for Overseas Labor (Ministry of Interior); Mr. Vi Ngoc Quynh – Deputy Director of the Department of Interior of Nghe An province, along with representatives from 10 enterprises in industrial zones in the province and hundreds of workers, students, and trainees.

In his opening remarks, a representative from the Nghe An Employment Service Center emphasized: In recent years, Nghe An has been one of the localities with a large number of workers participating in the EPS (South Korea) and IM Japan (Japan) programs. This workforce is well-trained, skilled in their profession and possesses an industrial work ethic, representing a high-quality human resource that needs to be attracted and given opportunities to develop in their homeland.

This job fair not only serves as a bridge to help returning workers find suitable jobs, but also provides an opportunity for local businesses to access and recruit skilled workers with discipline and international experience.

At the job fair, 13 businesses, manufacturing facilities, and recruitment agencies offered hundreds of job positions in the industrial, electronics, wood processing, garment, and service sectors – with stable incomes suitable to the skills of the workers. Besides the recruitment area, the organizers also set up booths providing advice on unemployment insurance, vocational training, entrepreneurship, preferential loans, etc., helping workers gain more information and long-term career orientation.

Speaking at the job fair, Mr. Vi Ngoc Quynh – Deputy Director of the Nghe An Department of Internal Affairs – emphasized: “The EPS and IM Japan workforce is a strategic human resource – possessing experience, skills, discipline, and good foreign language abilities. Businesses need appropriate policies to attract, train, and utilize this potential to maximize its benefits. At the same time, local authorities, especially in the western region of Nghe An, need to closely coordinate with the Employment Service Center in providing job counseling and placement services, updating the list of returning workers, and ensuring effective supply-demand connections.”

Also at the event, Mr. Le Manh Hung – Deputy Director of the Center for Overseas Labor - Ministry of Interior – highly appreciated Nghe An's organizational model, and affirmed that the job fair is not only an annual activity, but also a two-way human resource connection model – legitimate overseas employment, job placement upon return. This is proof of the consistent spirit of the Party and State: Labor is the center of development, and sustainable employment is the foundation of social security. Organizing job fairs like this is an effective way to support workers in developing their skills upon returning home, while also helping domestic businesses have more high-skilled labor to meet production and business needs in the new development phase.
