Mr. Tien also admitted that in recent times, many people of the "children of the powerful" have done things that can be considered lacking in ethical standards, social standards, culture, civilization, and going against national culture.
Contrary to the humble behavior they should have, they show an arrogant, demanding attitude, sitting on others' heads, and putting their relatives as a shield, a weapon to cover up and conceal their mistakes and sins.
It is the shallow thinking and immodest behavior of some people that have tarnished the image of him and his father.

Mr. Tien felt sad that during wartime, most of the children and grandchildren of cadres had to be exemplary, going to the hottest places, but during peacetime, most of the "children and grandchildren of the powerful" were promoted to positions considered to be "most favorable".
However, according to Mr. Tien, we should not "generalize", because he himself witnessed people who were "children of the powerful" but they lived exemplary lives, being examples for many people to learn from. They behaved very humbly and culturedly with superiors, subordinates, and in society. They promoted family traditions, did well the work assigned by society, and fulfilled their duties as children and grandchildren in the family.
Mr. Tien believes that in the work of appointing officials, if the "children of the powerful" are people with full qualities and abilities, then they are the ones who should be given priority for selection and promotion. But unfortunately, in the past, most of the selection of children of officials was not commensurate with their abilities, even their ethics and qualities.

Along with prejudice and antipathy towards the phrase “children of the boss”, public opinion has long been familiar with the phrase “appointment according to the process” because many “children” of poor quality are still put into the “process” to become this or that person. According to Mr. Le Nhu Tien, that process is not at fault, that process may be correct but the fault lies in the input of the process, sometimes not up to standard.
“In food hygiene and safety, if people put a piece of spoiled meat into making ham, they also follow the correct process of grinding, pounding, cooking… and then the ham will be produced, but it will be spoiled. I give this example to show that even if the process is followed correctly, the process cannot determine the output quality if the input quality is not taken seriously.
A person who does not have both qualities and abilities will still be an unqualified and incompetent official after going through that process. Our people have a saying: "The input is as rotten as soy sauce/The output quality is equivalent to the input." In my opinion, we should not only look at the process, but also pay special attention to selecting people to nurture and train to become officials," Mr. Tien stated his opinion.
Mr. Tien believes that it is time to review the appointment work, to put human quality and the quality of cadres first, do not let society mock with "5c" (children and grandchildren of the ancestors) and "6 e" (money, descendants, relationships, exceptions, disciples, intelligence), like that we will never have good cadres.
