Meanwhile, in Hanoi, two Khaisilk stores at 113 Hang Gai (Hoan Kiem District) and 26 Nguyen Thai Hoc (Ba Dinh District) also announced that they would close from the end of October - the time when the market management agency conducted an inspection of the business activities of this unit. On December 16, cThe two-story store at 26 Nguyen Thai Hoc is closed and its sign has been removed. A real estate broker said the store owner is looking for a tenant. However, he did not reveal who owns the land.
Khaisilk's second store in Hanoi located at 113 Hang Gai has been virtually inactive since late October.
"During the first week of closing, we occasionally saw people coming in and out. However, for the past month, very few people have come to the store," said a resident living near the store.
Ms. Tinh, a customer who bought some items here, said that in early November she also contacted the store to come here to exchange the towel. However, the store representative said that only customers who still have the receipt can make the exchange or return.
"Because I didn't keep the receipt, the store staff couldn't return the product I bought for nearly one million VND each," said Ms. Tinh.

Recently, the results of testing and assessing the quality of textile products for some product samples of Khai Duc Company Limited, the owner of the Khaisilk brand, showed that there was no silk ingredient as declared on the product label about the raw material ingredients in the product being 100% silk.
The leader of the Department of Competition and Consumer Protection (Ministry of Industry and Trade) - a member of the interdisciplinary inspection team on law enforcement in commercial activities, production, trade of counterfeit and banned goods and protection of consumer rights said,Seven out of 10 Khaisilk product samples had test results that differed from the declared information on ingredients. Accordingly, there were six products declared as "100% silk" but in reality were "100% polyester" or had "polyamide base fabric" and "polyester/rayon pattern". In addition, there was one product declared as "100 pashmina" but in reality was "49.9% rayon, 35.3% acrylic and 14.8% wool".
Statistics from the General Department of Customs show that within 3 years (2006 - 2009), Khai Duc imported fashion products from China and Thailand. However, from 2009 to October 15, 2017, the company no longer imported fashion items. From 2012 to present, the company has not carried out production, processing or ordering processing of fashion products from domestic enterprises and production facilities.
Instead, this enterprise mainly buys finished products from stores, businesses, and other enterprises in the market and attaches one of three product labels: "Khaisilk®", "Khaisilk stylized" and "Khaisilk Made in Vietnam" to sell in the market.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade has transferred the case files and evidence to the police investigation agency for handling according to regulations for signs of criminal violations. The Ministry will also monitor, continue to clarify and handle according to regulations for violations of enterprises under its authority.
