Hoa Sen Universityalso considers recruiting 450 additional targets in the second round with 21 majors at university level and 2 majors at college level. With method 1 based on the results of the national high school exam, the score for receiving applications in most majors is 15: Communications and computer networks, Software engineering, Environmental engineering technology, Marketing, Finance - Banking...

In addition, Hoa Sen University also accepts applications for the second round of additional admissions according to separate admission methods such as: using the results of 3 years of high school with preliminary selection of gifted students; using international English certificates or excellent students of 3 years of high school...

Similarly, many non-public universities in Ho Chi Minh City have to recruit thousands of additional positions such asNguyen Tat Thanh University,Van Hien University... with the application score for most majors only equal to the Ministry of Education's floor score of 15.

Besides, some large public universities in Ho Chi Minh City also fell into the situation of not being able to recruit enough students after the first round of admission and the first round of supplementary admission.International University(Ho Chi Minh City National University)Continue to consider additional admission requests for the second round for 11 majors granted by the school and joint programs: Biotechnology, Food Technology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering... The total additional quota for this round is 275, with a score of 15-21 for receiving applications.

SchoolHo Chi Minh City University of IndustryThere are still about 1,000 targets missing out of a total of more than 6,000 targets this year. The school's second round of additional admission scores are 16 for the general system and 15 for the high-quality system.

The school's admission principle is based on the admission score from high to low until the industry's quota is met. There is no difference in admission score for different admission combinations of the same industry. When many candidates have the same total score leading to exceeding the quota, the school will consider an additional criterion which is the main subject exam score in the admission combination.

Besides,Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestryalso announced the second round of additional admissions with nearly 500 quotas. Of which, with the main campus in Ho Chi Minh City, the school recruits 90 quotas for the two majors of Forestry and Land Management, and 55 quotas for the international bachelor's program. The minimum admission score at the Ho Chi Minh City campus is 18.

At the same time, Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry also recruited 155 additional students at Gia Lai branch with a minimum admission score of 16 and recruited 205 students at Ninh Thuan branch with a minimum admission score of 15 points.

With this year's enrollment situation, many schools are lacking in enrollment quotas and are worried because the supply of candidates has been exhausted. "CSchools that are short on quotas are trying to salvage the last candidates."If the application and admission scores are only equal to the Ministry of Education's floor score, it will be very difficult to recruit enough students. Many candidates have enough points to enter university, but if they consider the tuition fees, they will accept to study at college," said an admissions officer at a non-public school in Ho Chi Minh City.

Previously, in the first round of additional recruitment, manyCandidates across the country were upset when they registered for the same major at the same school, but those with high scores failed, while those with low scores passed.
