“The team has many activities to serve the epidemic prevention work such as: Cooking rice for the quarantine area, controlling the corner cutting of market cards, connecting agricultural product consumption for people... However, when the epidemic prevention work is "raised one level, one step ahead", the team deploys the activity of going to the market to help people", said Mr. Phan Chi Dung, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Quang Phong Ward (Thai Hoa Town).

Thu Thuy is a special ward, with no land for production, and houses close together, so garden land for growing vegetables is also very scarce. Therefore, when the ward implemented social distancing, the Ward Farmers' Association quickly established a volunteer team to help.food supply connectionfor the people
Mr. Nguyen Van Hong, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Thu Thuy Ward, said: "On average, we receive grocery shopping orders for about 100 families in the ward every day. In the past week, we have transported and supplied more than 1,000 orders to households."

Due to the characteristics of coastal areas, some wards and people do not have garden land for cultivation, so when the town implemented Directive 16, in many places, people did not prepare food in time, especiallygreen vegetables storage.
Ms. Tran Hoang Phuong, President of the Town Farmers' Association shared: "With the characteristics of the coastal area, little land for production, there are wards such as Nghi Thuy, Nghi Tan, Nghi Hai that do not have garden land or rice fields for cultivation. When the epidemic broke out, the town had many positive cases in the community and was forced to strictly implement Directive 16 to prevent the epidemic, so the supply of green vegetables was difficult. Therefore, the town association has a plan to direct the grassroots Farmers' Association to have specific plans to provide essential goods, especially green vegetables, to the people."
Accordingly, in each ward, a "Connecting and Supporting Farmers Group" will be established with volunteers who are Farmers' Association officials to help people go to the market, connecting with Farmers' Associations of other localities, especially vegetable growing areas such as Nghi Thu, Nghi Huong, Nghi Hoa (Cua Lo), Nghi Thuan, Nghi Long, Nghi Truong (Nghi Loc) to have a stable supply and stable prices.
According to each household's order, the groups will summarize the amount of vegetables needed in 2-3 days, then contact localities with vegetables, transport them to wards, and group members will divide the vegetables according to the order and bring them to each household.

During the period of social distancing, people's food needs are increasing day by day, while online ordering is interrupted, many elderly people, people without smartphones, especially in rural areas will have difficulty going to the online market, the model"go to the market for you"deployed in most localities implementing Directive 16 in the province. The key forces are social organizations such as Farmers' Association, Youth Union, Women's Union, etc.
This is a very practical activity at the present time, ensuring the supply of food for people at stable prices, limiting people from going out, and ensuring the consumption of agricultural products for people during the epidemic.
