(Baonghean.vn) - The rain continued to last, causing flooding and landslides in many places in Tuong and Duong Ky Son districts, and National Highway 7A was blocked at many points. Dozens of households had their houses flooded by rocks and soil.

The most traffic jams occurred on National Highway 7A in Tuong Duong district. On the evening of October 10, the border between Son Ha village and Tam Bong village (Tam Quang commune) was flooded, causing traffic to stagnate.

Then, this morning, the border between Luu Kien and Xa Luong communes was cut off by a landslide. Also on Highway 7A, the section passing through Ang village, Xa Luong commune, a large amount of mud and soil from the embankment slid down onto the road, blocking the road for more than 2 hours.

According to preliminary statistics, about 10 houses of households living next to National Highway 7A in Tuong Duong district were seriously affected by landslides. Faced with this situation, local authorities mobilized local forces to help people overcome the consequences.

Immediately after receiving the news, the functional forces of Tuong Duong district mobilized human resources and machinery to handle and clear the road. Mr. Phan Quoc Viet - Cua Rao Road Management Department said that the volume of landslide in Ang village was about 250m3./.
