Although it has only been nearly 2 years since the family of Ms. Lo Thi Tuat in Nam Dinh village, Chi Khe commune has achieved remarkable results. Initially, the family only raised 2 black sows to mate with wild boars; after several litters, the family selected healthy pigs for breeding.
It is known that since raising until now, the family's black pig hybrid wild boar herd has never been affected by any disease. When sold, each pig weighs from 15 to 22 kg, priced from 100,000 - 120,000,000 VND/kg. Ms. Tuat said that the closer to Lunar New Year, the higher the demand for young pigs and wild boars, so the price is also higher.
Although the family's wild-cross herd at its peak was only 30-40 pigs, the economic efficiency was higher than that of local breeds. In the coming time, Ms. Tuat's family will continue to invest and expand the herd.

Currently, his familyMaintains a herd of 5 wild boar sows and 50 commercial pigs/litter. This is the largest wild boar farm in Con Cuong district.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Hai said that the wild boar breed he raises is a specialty pig, raised free-range so many people trust it; during Tet, there is not enough supply to the market. Currently, the selling price of commercial pigs ranges from 90,000 VND to 110,000 VND/kg. Mr. Hai's family raises this specialty pig, earning hundreds of millions of VND annually.
