(Baonghean.vn) - On October 5, social organizations and groups had many activities to give gifts and support students, the poor and disadvantaged people in localities.

* Nghe Tinh – TOYAMA (Japan) AssociationIn coordination with the Nghia Loc Commune Youth Union (Nghia Dan), they visited, encouraged and presented 4 million VND to two brothers in Khe Sai 1 hamlet, Nguyen Hung Manh, a 7th grade student at Nghia Loc Secondary School and Nguyen Chi Vy, a student at Nghia Loc Kindergarten. The two brothers' mother was seriously injured in a traffic accident.

The gift money was donated and supported by fellow Nghe Tinh compatriots working and laboring in TOYAMA province (Japan).

* Women's Union of Huong Son commune (Tan Ky)presented the amount of money to support the Warm House for the family of member Ms. Chu Thi Huong Sen in Xuan Huong hamlet who was in difficulty because her house had just caught fire due to an electrical short circuit. The fire destroyed all the wooden parts of the house and all the furniture. Ms. Sen's family is in a very difficult situation, being a poor household. After the house caught fire, her family and her two young children had to ask to stay at a neighbor's house.

The Women's Union of Huong Son commune supported her family with 1 million VND from the Warm House fund and mobilized union members to help with labor to complete the house.
