Many activities were held during the month of action for children.

(Baonghean.vn) -On May 30, 2013, the Nghe An Border Guard Command issued a plan to implement activities for the Month of Action for Children with contents such as: meeting to commend and present gifts to students with high achievements in academics, sports, and arts; organizing recreational activities, excursions, and tree planting.

The Political Department of the Provincial Border Guard Command organized Children's Day celebrations and presented awards to outstanding students.

These activities are aimed at motivating and encouraging the achievements in the emulation movement of studying, training, and striving to become good children, good students, and good grandchildren of Uncle Ho, especially those who achieved high results in the 2012-2013 school year. This also aims to raise awareness and responsibility of agencies, units, and families towards children and young people – the future owners of the country.

On this occasion, the Provincial Border Guard Command presented gifts to 102 students from grade 9 and below who achieved excellent academic results at the provincial and district/city/town levels in the 2012-2013 school year, with a total value of 22 million VND.
