Many activities to give Tet gifts to the poor in localities

Here, the working delegation of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Quy Chau Protective Forest Management Board presented 91 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND.
This is the heart and sentiment of the cadres, workers and civil servants of Nghe An Agriculture and Rural Development sector with the desire to help people enjoy Spring and celebrate Tet.
The leaders of Chau Thuan commune also expressed their sincere thanks to the attention of the Party Committee, the government, the officials, civil servants, employees and workers of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; and the Quy Chau Protective Forest Management Board for the poor and disadvantaged families in the commune. Thereby, contributing to the people's joy and happiness during the Spring Festival.
The Provincial Police organized a program to wrap and cook Chung cakes to celebrate the glorious Party and the New Year of the Dragon in 2024. Attending were Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Duc Cuong - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, and leaders of several departments of the Provincial Police.

The program organizes the wrapping and cooking of 600 pairs of banh chung, which will then be presented by the provincial police leaders to patients being treated at provincial hospitals during the 2024 Lunar New Year.

In recent times, the Party Committee and leaders of the Provincial Police have directed the Police of units, localities, organizations and mass organizations to actively organize many activities to care for and encourage patients who have to stay for treatment at hospitals in the province. Thereby, the beautiful image of Nghe An police officers and soldiers who are brave, humane and serve the people has been increasingly spread.

Ngoc Lam Border Guard Station, Nghe An Border Guard in coordination with local Party committees, authorities, departments, branches, and organizations of Ngoc Lam commune, Thanh Chuong district organized a "Zero-VND booth" to raise funds to support poor households and policy households, presenting 40 gifts to poor households (each gift worth 500,000 VND) and gifts to children in the "Step Up to School" Program. The total value is nearly 40 million VND.
Previously, on the afternoon of February 2, My Ly Border Guard Station coordinated with the People's Committee of My Ly and Bac Ly communes, Ky Son district and sponsors including: Nong Thon Viet Magazine; VNPT Nghe An province organized the program "Spring on the border, warm the hearts of the villagers". Along with cultural and artistic activities, the banh chung wrapping and nem contest also attracted a large number of people to participate.
During the program, the organizers presented 245 gifts to poor households; 8 gifts to students in the program "Helping children go to school - adopted children of the border guard station"; 100 warm blankets to My Ly Commune Kindergarten. The total value of gifts and cash was nearly 150 million VND. On this occasion, My Ly Border Guard Station presented gifts from the Border Guard High Command and the Border Guard Command to the family of heroic martyr Va Ba Giai, and presented 10 gifts to 10 poor households worth 3 million VND.
