Many activities of giving gifts and supporting the poor to celebrate Tet in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - Responding to the Provincial Party Secretary's appeal to support Tet for the poor, on January 7, agencies and units organized to give Tet gifts and support the poor in localities in the province.
*Co-operative Bank of Vietnam, Nghe An branchpresented 100 Tet gifts, each worth 500,000 VND to poor households in Chau Hoan commune, Quy Chau district.

These gifts come from the contributions of all officers and employees of the Vietnam Cooperative Bank, Nghe An branch, with the desire to share difficulties and support the poor to have a warmer and more prosperous Tet.

The Association also presented more than 110 Tet gifts to pediatric patients being treated at the Lung Hospital and the Center for the Disabled and Orphans in Nghi Van Commune, Nghi Loc District.

*Nghe An Northwest General HospitalIn coordination with Tri Le Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard), organized the program "Warm Border Love", providing medical examination, consultation, free medicine and gifts to more than 500 people in Tri Le commune, Que Phong district with a total value of 85 million VND.

On the same day, Na Ngoi Border Guard Station and Na Ngoi Commune, Ky Son District coordinated with the Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, a member of TH Group, to organize the "Warm Border Tet" program, giving 40 gifts to poor households; each gift worth 500,000 VND in cash.
Timely support and assistance from organizations and individuals will help poor people and disadvantaged families in border areas celebrate the traditional Tet holiday happily and warmly.

On this occasion, representatives of Keng Du Border Guard Station presented 100 gifts from the Nghe An Provincial Border Guard Command to 100 poor households and policy families in Keng Du commune; total value of 50 million VND.

Keng Du is a poor commune in Ky Son district that received help from Nghe An Border Guard as assigned by the Provincial People's Committee.
In recent years, along with the contributions of officers and soldiers, Nghe An Border Guard has mobilized organizations and philanthropists to visit and give gifts; contributing to helping ethnic people in Keng Du commune to reduce difficulties and improve their lives.
