(Baonghean.vn) - On April 10, there continued to be many activities to donate, support and give gifts to officers, soldiers, functional forces, and people at concentrated quarantine areas in the province.

The delegation visited, encouraged and presented necessities including 20 cartons of Fami milk, 57 boxes of spirulina and 57 boxes of fermented soybeans with a total value of nearly 20 million VND to the forces on duty at the Quynh Luu District Political Training Center's Concentrated Quarantine Area. On behalf of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Duc Thanh expressed his thanks, encouragement and shared the hardships of the officers, soldiers, police and medical staff who are on duty here to serve the work of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic.
The concentrated quarantine area at Quynh Luu District Nursing Center currently has 123 people.laborreturned from Laos. After 2 weeks of quarantine, the health of the citizens is now stable. They will return home tomorrow morning, April 11, when the quarantine period ends. The team on duty at the centralized quarantine area now has 36 people including doctors, medical staff, police and military forces.

At the places visited and presented gifts, on behalf of the delegation, the Secretary of the District Party Committee kindly shared and praised the efforts and drastic participation of the medical staff, doctors, and armed forces of the district in effectively implementing the work of preventing and fighting Covid-19, especially in arranging human resources and necessary conditions to perform tasks at the centralized quarantine area of Tan Ky district. At the same time, he encouraged the staff of the two units to continue to synchronously and drastically deploy measures to prevent and fight Covid-19, proactively monitor the quarantined subjects closely to perform their assigned tasks well.

The gifts include 350 hammocks, 500 bottles of hand sanitizer, 200 boxes of bottled coffee, and 50 boxes of instant noodles with a total value of 240 million VND. These are the gifts contributed by listeners and donors through the program "Thousands of hearts heading to the frontline of the border" implemented by VOH, to support border guards who are working day and night at the border to prevent and fight the Covid-19 epidemic.

These goods will be transported by the Front and the Town's organizations to officers and soldiers on duty and 186 citizens who are being quarantined at the centralized quarantine area at the Central College of Transport (Vinh City).
Up to now, agencies, units, businesses and people of Hoang Mai town have donated more than 628 million in cash and nearly 460 million in essential goods to join the whole country in preventing the Covid-19 epidemic.
