Many social charity activities to support the poor in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - Handing over charity houses, giving gifts to poor households, students in difficult circumstances... are social and charitable activities taking place in the province on September 6.
Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Hoa town and Women's Union of Thai Hoa townpresented a solidarity house to the family of Ms. Ha Thi Thanh Thuy, a poor household in Nam Cuong block, Quang Phong ward.

Ms. Thuy's family is poor, her husband has heart disease, she alone has to work hard to raise two young children and her elderly mother. The house has been seriously degraded for many years but there are no conditions to repair or rebuild. Faced with these difficulties, at the end of 2018, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Hoa town and the Women's Union of the town supported 40 million VND for her family to build a new house.
In addition, the mass organizations of Quang Phong ward and Nam Cuong block have also supported Ms. Thuy's family with nearly 7 million VND. Up to now, the house has an area of 100m2Completed and put into use with a total cost of about 500 million VND.

Thai Hoa Town Youth Union in coordination with Nghe An Provincial Youth Unionand Vietnam Rubber Industry Group held a ceremony to hand over a charity house to the family of Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Hamlet 2, Nghia Hoa Commune.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hung's family is poor, his wife passed away, he alone has to raise 2 small children and an old mother, and he himself is often sick. Faced with this situation, Thai Hoa Town Youth Union, Nghe An Province Youth Union, with their connecting role, called on the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group to support 50 million VND for Mr. Nguyen Van Hung's family to build a new house with a total area of 70m2.2.

At the People's Committee of Quynh Giang Commune (Quynh Luu)Mr. Nguyen Van Hai, a native of Quynh Van commune, currently working in Binh Duong province, donated 70 million VND to support house construction for Ms. Tran Thi Huong, hamlet 2, Quynh Giang commune.

Ms. Huong is a relative who is currently worshiping Martyr Chu Van Hue. Her family is in extremely difficult circumstances. Her house has been in disrepair for a long time but she has not been able to repair it. With the money she has received, Ms. Huong's family plans to repair the house in October to have a more spacious place to worship the martyr.
On the same day, Mr. Nguyen Van Hai also gave 5 million VND to support the education of Dang Tuong Vi, in hamlet 11, whose family is extremely poor, and whose mother and brother are disabled.

Anh Son District Police Youth UnionCoordinated with a number of philanthropists and volunteer groups in the district to organize gift giving to support students in difficult circumstances at Duc Son Secondary School, Thach - Thi Primary and Secondary School, Tra Lan, Bai Lim, Cao Veu campus of Phuc Son Primary School and Cao Veu campus of Phuc Son Secondary School on the occasion of the new school year.
The gifts include school bags, books and school supplies, with a total value of nearly 19.5 million VND.

Standing Committee of Nghia Dan District Youth Unioncoordinated with 25 commune and town delegations to organize the "Support to go to school" gift giving ceremony for students in difficult circumstances. Accordingly, the delegation gave 112 gifts and 24 bicycles with a total value of about 62 million VND to students who are children of poor, near-poor households, and children in especially difficult circumstances in the district.
