At 2 PM on June 24th, the center of the storm was located at approximately 20.8 degrees North latitude and 106.7 degrees East longitude, over the land of Quang Ninh and Hai Phong provinces. The strongest winds near the center of the storm were at level 8 (approximately 60 to 70 km per hour), with gusts of level 10-11.

Forecast for the next 24 hours: The storm will move northwest at approximately 10 km per hour, making landfall and weakening into a tropical depression, then a low-pressure area. By 13:00 on June 25th, the center of the low-pressure area will be located at approximately 22.5 degrees North latitude; 105.7 degrees East longitude, over the mountainous region of Northern Vietnam. The strongest winds at the center of the low-pressure area will decrease to below level 6 (i.e., below 40 km per hour).

From June 24th to 25th, moderate to heavy rainfall is expected in the Northeast and North Central regions of Vietnam. A flood surge is expected on the Red River and Thai Binh River systems, with water levels rising by 3-6 meters in the upper reaches and 2-3 meters in the lower reaches. There is a high risk of flash floods, landslides, and mudslides in the provinces of Quang Ninh, Lang Son, Bac Giang, Cao Bang, Bac Can, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, Ha Giang, and the area from Thanh Hoa to Ha Tinh. The level of natural disaster risk is level 1.
