Many car models will increase in price from tens to hundreds of millions of dong from 2023
A series of cars from the economy segment to the luxury segment have been confirmed to increase in price from 2023, with price increases ranging widely and the highest reaching hundreds of millions of dong.
At the end of 2022, Mercedes-Benz Vietnam announced that it will adjust the selling prices for a number of car models, the new price application date will be January 1, 2023. Accordingly, there are 11 Mercedes-Benz models subject to this price adjustment, from the GLC, E-Class, GLE, GLE Coupe, GLS and S-Class lines.
Specifically, the GLC200 model has the lowest increase, only 50 million VND. On the other hand, the highest increase belongs to the S 450 4MATIC Luxury model with a difference of 180 million VND compared to the current selling price.
In addition, Mercedes-Benz Vietnam also announced that it will adjust the selling prices of some Mercedes-AMG models as well as the Mercedes-Maybach luxury car line.
Of which, the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 4MATIC Coupe model will increase its listed price by 180 million VND, the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 480 4MATIC will increase by 280 million VND, and the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC will also increase by 380 million VND.

Volkswagen also confirmed that the listed prices of the two SUV models Teramont and Touareg will both increase sharply from January 1, 2023. Accordingly, the selling price of the Volkswagen Teramont will increase by VND 150 million, to VND 2.499 billion. The Luxury version of the Volkswagen Touareg will be adjusted to increase by VND 100 million, to VND 3.499 billion.
The two compatriot car companies Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz explained that the reason for this price increase is due to the increase in foreign exchange rates, the impact of inflation and fluctuations in production costs.
As one of the models that regularly makes it to the top of the list of best-selling cars on the market, the Toyota Corolla Cross urban high-chassis vehicle has been announced by dealers to increase its listed price from 9-19 million VND depending on the version from the beginning of this January. The expected selling price of the most popular urban SUV in Vietnam is 755-955 million VND.

Along with its predecessor, the Toyota Raize will also increase its selling price by 5 million VND, up to 552 million VND. The black roof or pearl white exterior versions will be increased by 8 million VND. The pearl white Toyota Raize version with black roof will be priced at 563 million VND.
Toyota Camry's D-class sedan model also had its price adjusted, increasing by 35 million VND across all 4 versions.
Toyota Land Cruiser alone will increase by 90 million VND, bringing the listed price of this large luxury SUV to 4.286-4.297 billion VND from the first day of the new year.
In the last quarter of 2022, other car manufacturers in the Vietnamese market such as Toyota, Mitsubishi, Suzuki, Kia, Mazda, Peugeot, Ford and Hyundai also adjusted prices for a series of their products.

Most recently, the Ford Everest Titanium 4x2 version also received many technological upgrades and increased its selling price by 41 million VND, up to 1.286 billion VND. The 7-seat SUV models applying the new selling price will be delivered to customers in January next year.
