Many gifts come to Nghe An students on the opening day
(Baonghean.vn) - On September 5, in the atmosphere of the new school year opening day, units and localities had many activities to give gifts, support, and sponsor students with difficult circumstances and good academic performance.

Units under the Nghe An Border Guard on the two border and coastal lines such as Nam Can Border Guard Station, My Ly Border Guard Station (Ky Son), Tri Le Border Guard Station (Que Phong), Squadron 2 (Cua Lo) have presented gifts, supported, and sponsored students with difficult circumstances and good academic performance. Representatives of the units presented a total of 106 gifts to support poor students who have overcome difficulties and are good academic performers with a monthly support level of 500,000 VND.
* Muong Tip Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard)also attended the opening ceremony and presented gifts to 3 secondary schools, primary schools and kindergartens in Muong Tip commune, Ky Son district, each school received 1 million VND, contributing to overcoming the consequences of the flood. These are schools that suffered heavy damage in the recent flood.

On the same day, Muong Tip Border Guard Station also presented 3 million VND and gifts to the family of Moong Pho Tuat, residing in Xop Phong village, Muong Ai commune, whose two people were swept away by floodwaters.
Previously, on August 17, rising floodwaters in the stream swept away the entire house along with Mr. Moong Pho Uon (nearly 80 years old) and his son Moong Pho Tuat (45 years old) who were in the house at that time.

* Leaders of Vinh City Party Committee - People's Committeeattended the Opening Ceremony of the new school year and presented gifts to 50 primary school students from poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households of 10 primary schools in 9 communes including: Nghi Duc, Nghi An, Nghi Phu, Nghi Lien, Nghi Kim, Hung Hoa, Hung Dong, Hung Chinh, Hung Loc. Each gift worth 1 million VND was taken from the city's "Fund for the Poor".

*InTan Ky Town Kindergarten, 14 children from poor and near-poor households received gifts, of which the Tan Ky Town Education Promotion Association gave 1 gift worth 300,000 VND and a phone store located in the area gave 13 gifts, each gift was 1 set of clothes.

Each bicycle is worth 1.5 million VND, donated by officers and employees of the sponsoring unit.

At Nam Can 2 Primary School, the delegation directly presented 150 gifts, each including: school bags, notebooks, pens, rulers, red scarves, milk, candy, and 100 gifts including lunch boxes, slippers and milk to kindergarten students in Huoi Poc village. Total value is nearly 70 million VND.
On this occasion, the delegation visited and presented gifts to two students, Ho Y Lau and Luong Van Ot, students of the Secondary School in Tien Tieu village, Nam Can commune, who are in difficult circumstances, each with 2 million VND.

The total value of gifts is 60 million VND including 105 scholarships and more than 200 textbooks given to students of the above schools.

*Nghia Dan District Children's Support Fundpresented a gas rice cooker worth 20 million VND to children of Nghia Hoi Kindergarten and presented 40 "helping children go to school" gifts, each worth 500,000 VND to poor students and students with difficult circumstances in the district.

* Also at Nghia Dan,Nghia Yen Commune Youth Union organized to give 23 gifts to 23 students with especially difficult circumstances in the area. The gifts included 7 bicycles, worth nearly 8.3 million VND, 16 cash gifts, worth 5.3 million VND. The money was donated by agencies, units, and benefactors at the 2018 Green Dream Lighting Night organized by Nghia Yen Commune Youth Union Executive Committee.
