Nam Dan District Police are temporarily detaining Ho Sy Ha (born in 1979), residing in Nam Anh Commune, Nam Dan District, Nghe An Province and Pham Ngoc Sang (born in 1994), residing in Vu Ban District, Nam Dinh Province to investigate and clarify their actions.illegal immigration.

Previously, in early January 2021, through the work of grasping the situation, Nam Dan District Police received information that a number of illegal workers were deported back to their country. Conducting verification, the police agency determined that a number of subjects had organized to bring workers illegally across the border to China to work and appropriate their money. Nam Dan District Police urgently established a special project to fight and arrest subjects in this criminal ring.
On January 24, 2021, Nam Dan District Police arrested Ho Sy Ha and Pham Ngoc Sang while he was hiding in Nam Dinh province.
During the investigation, the police agency clarified the criminal acts of the subjects. Accordingly, around July 2020, taking advantage of the complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic worldwide, countries temporarily suspending entry, understanding the psychology of many people who need to export labor to Taiwan, Ho Sy Ha and Pham Ngoc Sang connected with a number of subjects in China and Taiwan to set up a network and organize illegal immigration.
The two subjects received money from four people in Nam Dan district to organize the illegal border crossing to China. The total amount of money that the two subjects appropriated was more than 276 million VND.
After receiving the above amount of money, the workers will be taken to the Vietnam-China border and illegally cross the border by land to China. After entering China, other subjects in the network will pick them up on a ship to wait for the opportunity to cross the border by sea to Taiwan. However, after a short time, these illegal labor export citizens were discovered by Taiwanese police, detained and deported back to their home country.
Currently, Nam Dan District Police are continuing to investigate and expand the case.
