Many Vietnamese people are "crazy" about virtual money

Compared to the peak price of around 16,000 - 17,000 USD/Bitcoin at the end of 2017, the current price of this currency is 6,700 USD, down more than 60%. Moreover, Vietnam is one of the countries that has not recognized the legality of Bitcoin. However, statistics from the world's leading news sites and virtual currency exchanges show that Vietnam is still in the top 3 - 4 countries in terms of traffic.
Specifically, the number of people visiting the virtual currency price statistics page Coinmarketcap, Vietnam ranked third with a rate of 6.05%. Leading the access to this page is the US with 14.85% and second is Russia with 6.63%. Meanwhile, the UK is behind Vietnam with a rate of 4.6%. At the Binance exchange, the number of visitors from Vietnam ranked fourth with 6.8%, after the US, Russia and Türkiye. Similarly, the number of visitors to the Bittrex exchange from Vietnam accounted for 9.33% of the total number, ranking third after the US and Russia. Or at the Huobi exchange, Vietnam also ranked third in terms of traffic, only after China and the US...
In addition, according to statistics from Coin.Dance, Vietnam is also among the countries with the highest transaction volume in the world. Statistics show that the value of Bitcoin transactions alone in one day in August worldwide was about 6.3 billion USD. Of which, transactions from the US reached 1.44 billion USD, accounting for 22.77% of total transactions.
Next are transactions from Russia with 1.05 billion USD and the UK ranked third with 738 million USD... Particularly, transactions from Vietnam are estimated to reach 3 million USD, ranking 41st in the statistical list. The transaction rate in Vietnam is only less than 0.1% of total transactions globally.
In Asia, China is the country with the largest Bitcoin transaction volume with a value of about 622 million USD, ranking 5th on the above list and accounting for 9.83% of global transactions.
