The race has created a new, unique and interesting playground, spreading the spirit of sports and awareness of training and protecting people's health, contributing to improving the physical and mental health of the community.

In this race, runners were tested in distances of 5 km, 10 km and 21 km for both men and women. The runners' running route started from Nguyen Du Square, the Great Poet Nguyen Du Relic Site, around the Xuan Thanh Golf Course (Ha Tinh Province) and returned to the starting point.

Participating in the race were many athletes who were members of the national team, achieving high results at Asian tournaments and SEA Games such as athlete Nguyen Thi Ngoc (Co Dam commune, Nghi Xuan district) who won the Asian Gold medal, 2 Gold medals at SEA Games 32; athlete Nguyen Trung Cuong, athlete Le Thanh Long were members of the national team, winning Gold medals at SEA Games 31 and 32...
However, the interesting thing at the Nghi Xuan Half Marathon 2023 is that many new factors have created surprises on the running distances.

Specifically, in the 5km distance, the first prize for women belonged to athlete Bui Thi Nhuan with a time of 20 minutes and 29 seconds; the first prize for men belonged to athlete Tran Minh Quy with a time of 17 minutes and 23 seconds.
In the 10km distance, the first prize for women belonged to athlete Le Thi Thanh Nga with a time of 40 minutes and 33 seconds; the first prize for men belonged to athlete Sam Van Doi with a time of 34 minutes and 25 seconds.

Runners Le Van Huong and Pham Thi Hue won first place in the 21km race for men and women, respectively. The prize for first place in this race is 5 million VND.

In addition to the final prize, the Organizing Committee also awarded prizes to the clubs with the largest number of participating athletes.
