Many gifts were given to the people of Hoa Son village who suffered damage due to floods during the Great Solidarity Festival.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 17, in the joyful atmosphere of the people of the whole country celebrating the 92nd anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam United Front (November 18), in Hoa Son village, Ta Ca commune (Ky Son), the National Great Unity Festival took place in conjunction with the meeting with voters of the National Assembly deputies of Nghe An province after the 4th session of the 15th National Assembly.

Attending the National Great Unity Day associated with voter contact were comrades: Hoang Minh Hieu - Standing member of the National Assembly's Law Committee; Tran Nhat Minh - Member of the National Assembly's Law Committee, full-time delegate of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province.
The comrades are members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee: Kha Van Tam - Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; Nguyen Thi Quynh Hoa - Chairman of the Provincial Women's Union; Comrade Truong Thiet Hung - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province.
Also attending the festival was Major General Nguyen Sy Hoi - Former Deputy Commander of Military Region 4, Chairman of the Provincial Veterans Association.
On the local leadership side, there were comrade Vi Hoe - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Ky Son district; comrades in the Standing Committee of the Ky Son District Party Committee and Ta Ca commune, and a large number of local people.
At the festival, delegates and people of Hoa Son village reviewed the 92-year history and glorious tradition of the Vietnam National United Front in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland; arousing the tradition of patriotism, promoting the strength of great national unity in the period of accelerating industrialization, modernization of the country and international integration.

The Great Solidarity Festival was solemnly and warmly organized by the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee in Hoa Son village, Ta Ca commune, also to share and alleviate the difficulties and hardships that people have experienced after the historic flood on October 2, 2022. Hoa Son village has 244 households with nearly 1,000 people, more than 80% of the population are Thai ethnic people. The village is located in the center of the flash flood. The flood swept away 35 houses of the people, many essential works such as schools, internal roads, bridges were severely damaged by the flood. The total damage is up to tens of billions of VND. Currently, Hoa Son village is still surrounded by mud, soil, and rocks. The difference in height of the village compared to before the flood is from 0.5 to 1.5m. According to the plan, 138 households will have to be relocated to a new resettlement area.

Sharing the losses of Ta Ca commune in general and Hoa Son village in particular, right after the flood passed, thousands of cadres, youth union members, police and military forces of the province and district participated in supporting people to overcome the consequences of the flood. Along with that, the Party committees, authorities, and Fatherland Front at all levels called for the joint help of the community. Up to now, through socialized resources, more than 600 organizations and individuals have supported Ky Son district with 55 billion VND to overcome the consequences of the flood.

Thanks to the spirit of solidarity and mutual support of the community, it has helped people in the flooded area of Ky Son overcome immediate difficulties and gradually stabilize their lives.

At the National Great Unity Day associated with voter contact, comrade Tran Nhat Minh - Member of the Law Committee of the National Assembly, full-time delegate of the National Assembly delegation of Nghe An province shared the losses and difficulties that the people of Hoa Son village and Ta Ca commune have experienced over the past month. National Assembly delegate Tran Nhat Minh also hopes that people will promote the spirit of solidarity and mutual assistance to help each other take care of their lives, develop the economy, and preserve the cultural values of the community and the nation. In addition, the thoughts and aspirations of the people will be received by the National Assembly delegates and reflected to the relevant agencies to solve practical problems.
The National Assembly delegate also informed the voters of Hoa Son village about the results of the 4th session of the 15th National Assembly.

On this occasion, the delegation of the National Assembly of Nghe An province and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province called for the construction of a Great Unity House for a poor household worth 60 million VND; construction of bridges for the two villages of Hoa Son and Na Nhu, each worth 65 million VND; purchase of equipment for the Hoa Son Community Cultural House worth about 60 million VND; the Provincial Labor Federation donated money to build 5 houses for the people, each worth 40 million VND. The Veterans Association, the Provincial Women's Union and Ky Son district also presented gifts to the households of Hoa Son village.
Immediately after the ceremony, delegates planted solidarity trees and started building a bridge in Hoa Son village.
