Many top national players attend Nghe An Open Table Tennis Tournament
(Baonghean.vn) - The 2023 Nghe An Open Table Tennis Tournament features the participation of 8 top male and 8 female players in Vietnam, including the reigning SEA Games champion.
On the evening of March 31, at Nghe An Provincial Sports Stadium, the opening ceremony of the Nghe An Open Table Tennis Tournament for the 3rd Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital Club Cup - Central ENT Hospital in 2023 took place.
Attending the opening ceremony, on behalf of the Vietnam Table Tennis Federation were Mr. Vu Nguyen Thai - Vice President; Mr. Nguyen Nam Hai - Deputy Secretary General, Head Coach of the Vietnam Table Tennis Team. On behalf of Nghe An province, there were representatives of the Department of Culture and Sports, leaders of Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, and Central ENT Hospital.

The 3rd Nghe An Open Table Tennis Tournament for the Cup of Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital Club - Central ENT Hospital in 2023 attracted the participation of more than 300 athletes from 32 professional teams nationwide, 54 amateur teams, and 32 men's pairs who are leaders of agencies, units, and enterprises in the two provinces of Nghe An and Ha Tinh.

Notably, the tournament had the participation of 18 leading Vietnamese male and female tennis players such as: Nguyen Duc Tuan (men's singles champion of SEA Games 31), Doan Ba Tuan Anh, Dinh Anh Hoang, Le Dinh Duc, Nguyen Dang Hiep, Bui The Nghia... (men) and Ta Hong Khanh, Ta Hong Khanh, Nguyen Thi Nga, Nguyen Khoa Dieu Khanh, Tran Mai Ngoc, Nguyen Thanh Nam, Bui Ngoc Lan... (women).

This tournament is held every March to maintain and promote the table tennis movement in Nghe An province, and is also an opportunity for table tennis clubs to exchange and learn from each other.

The tournament also aims to discover, select and screen athletes for the high-performance table tennis team of Nghe An province.
The 3rd Nghe An Open Table Tennis Tournament for the Cup of Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital Club - Central ENT Hospital will close on the evening of April 2.
