Heavy rain this afternoon, April 26, caused many roads in Vinh City and Nam Dan town to be flooded.
In Vinh City, although the situationfloodingNot as severe as previous years, however on some routes such as Kim Dong, Nguyen Xuan On, Dang Thai Than... localized flooding still occurs.
During heavy rains, the water could not drain quickly enough, causing flooding, in some places reaching up to half a wheel. After the rain stopped for about 15-30 minutes, the water receded, so there were no serious consequences.

During heavy rains, the number of people and vehicles passing through this section of road is so large that the rainwater cannot drain away quickly. Many people driving motorbikes through this section of road at the time of deep flooding have caused their motorbikes to stall.

Many residents in this area said that flooding on this road section often occurs. The cause was determined to be that recently the construction density in this area has increased, but the drainage system has not met the requirements. Although it is close to the drainage canal,Nam Dan Barbut the rainwater still could not drain away fast enough.

According to weather forecasts, due to the impact of cold air compressing and filling the low pressure trough, the Northern and North Central regions have had moderate to heavy rain, and in some places very heavy rain with common rainfall of 40 - 100 mm/24 hours, in some places over 120 mm/24 hours.
