Many Vietnamese players return from injury
Round 14 of V-League 2023-2024 witnessed the return of many Vietnamese players such as Phan Van Duc, Tuan Anh, Duy Manh, Tuan Hai...
Returning to competition after about a year of absence due to injury treatment, striker Phan Van Duc made his mark with a goal for Hanoi Police FC in the away match at Thanh Hoa's field in round 14 of V-League 2023-2024.

That was a quick counter-attack by Hanoi Police FC, Ho Van Cuong crossed for Phan Van Duc to finish close to the goal, making the home team's net empty in the 90+6 minute.
Evaluating Phan Van Duc's return, coach Kiatisuk said: "I am very careful about Phan Van Duc's case as the pitch can cause him to re-injure. Phan Van Duc has just returned and scored a goal and that is good news."
With a goal on his return, Phan Van Duc has more motivation to regain his form and find a chance to return to the Vietnam national team.
In addition to Phan Van Duc, another Vietnamese player, Nguyen Tuan Anh, also returned in the last round, in the match where Nam Dinh Steel Blue played away at Hanoi FC. After entering the field in the second half, Tuan Anh helped the away team play better and won a valuable 2-1 victory right at Hang Day.
Round 14 of V-League also has the return of many players after recovering from injury including: Que Ngoc Hai, Dang Van Lam, Duy Manh, Tuan Hai...
Previously, this group of players missed the training session with the Vietnamese team, in two matches against Indonesia in the second qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup. After two losses (0-1 first leg and 0-3 second leg), coach Philippe Troussier and the Vietnam Football Federation reached an agreement to terminate the contract.
