Judging strength by urine color

Tell me what your urine looks like. Do you urinate a lot or a little, what color is it…? I will tell you whether your health is good or not.

Straw yellow

Just by paying attention to the color and smell of your urine, you can learn about your health. Normally, the urine of a healthy person is straw yellow or light yellow and has a pleasant smell.

Orange

The cause is due to your consumption of orange-colored foods. Your body contains a high level of carotene. Additionally, antibiotics, chemotherapy drugs, laxatives, blood thinners, and even medications for urinary tract infections can cause orange urine. You should consult your doctor. Bring all medications you are taking to your doctor and ask for detailed information.

Brown

If your urine is dark brown (like strong tea), it could be a sign of kidney failure or liver disease or liver dysfunction.

Light brown urine can be caused by eating large amounts of rhubarb or beans. Some medications can also cause brown urine, such as laxatives, muscle relaxants, antimalarial drugs, and certain antibiotics.

Blue or green

The common culprit in this case is asparagus. Certain medications can also cause urine to turn green, including anti-nausea and heartburn medications, and multivitamins.

Red/Pink

Red urine can indicate an infection, cancer, kidney disease, kidney or bladder stones, or liver disease. However, it can also be caused by anesthetics, laxatives, and some antipsychotic medications. Additionally, as with other color changes, it can be due to varied foods, fruits, and beets. It could also be a sign of chronic mercury poisoning or lead poisoning.

If you have red or pink urine, you should see a doctor as soon as possible to find the cause and receive timely medical assistance.
