(Baonghean) - Readers & Editors: From March 25th to April 1st, 2014, Nghe An Newspaper received the following letters and petitions:
- Mr. Tran Chi Liem - Principal of Le Doan Nha High School - Yen Thanh District, reflected: The Provincial People's Committee did not comply with legal regulations when issuing Decision 140/QD-UBND.DC requiring the school to rent land and pay for it; the Yen Thanh District Tax Department applied the non-agricultural land use tax rate to the school (Official Letter No. 17/TB-CT) which is contrary to legal regulations.
- Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Anh from Luu Son commune, Do Luong district, complained: She was hired as a cashier and service staff member at the Do Luong Fish Hatchery in August 2008. In April 2009, she was officially appointed as a permanent employee of the Fish Hatchery. During her employment, she always performed well and complied with all company assignments, without violating any disciplinary rules. However, in January 2014, she only received 50% of her salary without knowing the reason or receiving any official decision. She has reported this matter to the fish station and the Nghe An Aquaculture Seed Joint Stock Company, but it has not been resolved fairly and transparently; instead, there have been signs of defiance and disregard for state law.
- Residents of Hamlet 18B, Nghi Lien Commune, Vinh City, have petitioned: The pile driving work for the foundation of the Vinh Airport terminal is causing damage to their houses. To ensure the project continues on schedule, the Provincial People's Committee committed to resolving the issue in December 2013; however, three months have passed and this commitment has yet to be fulfilled.
- Mr. Le Van Lao, a resident of Cau Da hamlet, Chau Loc commune, Quy Hop district, submitted a petition regarding Ms. Nguyen Thi Phong Lan, a judicial officer of the Chau Loc commune People's Committee, who has an arrogant attitude and causes inconvenience to the people…
- Mr. Nguyen Quoc Tam, a resident of Block 11, Quang Trung Ward, Vinh City, complained that the Provincial People's Committee's Official Document No. 5025/UBND/KT dated July 24, 2013, regarding "Agreement with Conclusion No. 10/KL/UBND dated March 15, 2013, of the Vinh City People's Committee on the legal status of land plot No. 49, map sheet 16, Block 14, Cua Nam Ward, Vinh City" lacks legal basis, misrepresents the facts, and proposes solutions that violate State regulations.
- Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh and Mr. Phan Van Phong, residing in Hamlet 5, Thanh Hoa Commune, Thanh Chuong District, reported: Their family was assaulted and threatened by a group of people aiming to seize their property. The family has reported the incident to the commune and district authorities, as well as the commune and district police, but it has not been resolved, and the group is being allowed to continue their activities with impunity.

- Referral slip No. 135/PC.BD/BNA dated April 1, 2014, to the People's Committee of Do Luong District regarding the petition of Mr. Pham Ba Dien, a citizen of Hamlet 7, Tru Son Commune, Do Luong District.
- Referral slip No. 136/PC.BD/BNA dated April 2, 2014, to the People's Committee of Anh Son District regarding the petition of Ms. Tran Thi Tu, Hamlet 5, Lang Son Commune.
