Boko Haram group burns village, kills 23 civilians in Cameroon
According to Xinhua News Agency, a Cameroonian military source said on December 27 that suspected Boko Haram militants killed 23 civilians and burned a village on the night of December 26 in the far north of the country.

According to the source, the attack occurred in Mozogo, bordering Nigeria.
The move comes as Boko Haram militants have stepped up attacks in northern Cameroon since 2013.
The group clashed with the Cameroonian army in Amchide, Makari and Waza, three other areas in the country's far north, on December 26-27.
The source confirmed that Cameroonian forces repelled simultaneous attacks by rebels and that the situation has stabilized for now./.
