Understanding the hardships of his family, from a young age, when his friends were living a carefree and comfortable childhood, Ngo Van Giang had to go to school and do hard farm work to help his parents. In 2008, Giang suffered from bronchial asthma and had to go to Hanoi for regular check-ups.

Giang's second sister, Ngo Thi Ha, unfortunately suffered from kidney failure after graduating from Nghe An Pedagogical College. The family's life became even more difficult when the whole family had to pool money to treat her sister's illness and take care of their father, who had heart disease.

Although his family is poor and he is sick, Giang studies very well.

For 12 consecutive years, Giang has always been an excellent student, winning many high prizes in excellent student competitions, especially in Physics.

In the recent National High School Exam, Ngo Van Giang scored 26.8 points, passed the Information Technology Department of Hanoi University of Science and Technology and was one of the students with the highest A block score in Nghe An province.
