Group of young men impersonating police officers robbed casino property
A group of young men went to casinos, fired guns and artillery, then claimed to be Criminal Police, robbed property and left.
On the afternoon of May 5, Dong Thap Provincial Police announced that the investigation agency had just arrested a group of 6 young men who impersonated criminal police officers to rob property.

According to the initial investigation, the subjects include: Ho Quoc Anh (22 years old, residing in Long Hung A commune, Lap Vo district, Dong Thap); Tran Minh Hau (17 years old); Nguyen Thanh Nhut Anh (17 years old, both residing in Tan Khanh Dong commune, Sa Dec city, Dong Thap); Tran Van Vu Kiet (20 years old); Chau Quoc Anh (20 years old) and Dang Thanh Dat (17 years old, both residing in Tan Khanh Trung commune, Lap Vo district) who went together to social evils and cockfighting arenas and claimed to be criminal police.
This group used guns and handcuffs to control the people involved but did not make a record and robbed them of their belongings before escaping in a car. The people were suspicious so they reported it to the police and the group of young men were quickly arrested.
At the police station, the group of young men confessed that Ho Quoc Anh was the mastermind, inviting the other five people to discuss, impersonating criminal police to raid gambling dens, control the people involved, and then rob their property. The investigation agency seized a gun, 2 handcuffs, 3 motorbikes and related evidence.
The incident is under further investigation.
