(Baonghean.vn) - On April 6, the Faith Volunteer Group visited and gave gifts to two disadvantaged families in Dien Hung and Dien Hoang communes, Dien Chau district.

When mentioning the family situation of Mr. Nguyen Van Chinh and Ms. Tran Thi Hien, everyone in Dien Hoang commune feels sorry. Because after 7 years of marriage, they had to live in tears for 7 years when their first son was born with cerebral palsy. And then for 7 years, they and their son were hospitalized like daily meals because the child not only had abnormal intelligence but also was constantly sick.

Two years later, they gave birth to a lovely baby girl. They thought that joy would be kindled in their small house, but ironically, a year ago, when they had a fever and took their child to the provincial hospital for a check-up, they received news that she had leukemia and had to be transferred to the National Children's Hospital for urgent treatment. At this time, her condition was diagnosed as severe, and only therapies were used to maintain and prolong her life.

Now, every day, Ms. Hien has to quit her job to stay home and take care of her two sick children. Mr. Chinh also doesn't have a stable job, so his income is very unstable.

In order to share the family's difficulties, the Faith Group visited, encouraged and personally handed them 10 million VND.

Also on April 6, the group went to Hamlet 2 - Dien Hoang Commune to visit the family of Mr. Tran Que. Mr. Que has been paralyzed since childhood, with cramped limbs, but still has to crawl around the house to take care of his sick mother over 90 years old and his younger sister Tran Thi Hai, who is also disabled like him.

Now, apart from the small allowance for the disabled, Que and his three children have no additional income. Sympathizing with his family’s situation, the Faith Group has also supported him with 10 million VND to help him have more money for medicine for his mother and sister…
