Surveying the market, Vinh City has more than 40 stores, shops, and supermarkets selling refrigeration products. In general, this year the cooling equipment market is quite diverse and rich and the selling price has not increased much compared to the same period last year. Currently, the two best-selling products on the market are refrigerators and air conditioners. For refrigerators, the price of popular lines such as Funiki and Midea ranges from 4 - 6 million VND, while high-end lines such as Hitachi, Panasonic or Toshiba are over 10 million VND/product. For air conditioners, in general, the average price is about 7 - 15 million VND, customers can own a satisfactory product. Regarding the new breakthrough feature this year, it is said that Daikin launched a line of air conditioners using refrigerants that are highly energy-saving and environmentally friendly.

Through the shops in Vinh market area, it is known that Thai and Malaysian refrigeration products are consumed the most because of their reasonable price and durability. As for Vietnamese joint venture products such as Funiki Hoa Phap, although they are 25% cheaper than other brands, customers do not like them.

Talking to Mr. Nguyen Huy Son - owner of Huong Son store at Vinh market, he said: "If last year mist fans and steam fans were chosen by many customers, this year humidifiers are dominant. On average, the store sells dozens of them each day, both retail and wholesale." Observation through stores selling these humidifiers shows that the price ranges from 300 to 500 thousand VND/unit, with diverse designs, originating from China.

However, Mr. Nguyen Van Tri - owner of another retail outlet in Vinh market shared: "These types of humidifiers have lower durability compared to mist fans and steam fans, because after only the second or third season of use, they show signs of damage."

To stimulate the consumer market, large electronics centers have promoted many pre- and post-sales services such as golden hours of discounts, installment payments, or gifts when purchasing. In addition, grasping the trend of consumers preferring high-tech, energy-saving products, electronics centers have focused on displaying and introducing high-end product lines.

At BigC Vinh Supermarket, Mr. Nguyen Manh Thanh - manager of the refrigeration booth said: "This year, Samsung and Daikin products are consumed a lot because of their beautiful designs and energy-saving features. Prices have not fluctuated much." At An Thinh Supermarket (Tran Phu Street - Vinh City), the center sells from 30 to 50 cooling devices every day. In addition to selling in the city, the supermarket also distributes to districts and towns with a rate of 200 products per day. The most distributed receiving points are Hoang Mai, Quynh Luu, Dien Chau TX...".

In Hoang Mai Town, the refrigeration market is also quite bustling. Here, popular product lines dominate over high-end lines, refrigerators are considered the most consumed product and Sanyo products with an average price of 5 million VND are popular with local people. In addition to the relatively low price, refrigerators of this line also have the ability to deodorize and save electricity. At a point of sale in Quynh Xuan ward, Mr. Tran Duc Toan - the store owner said: "Since the beginning of the hot season, the store has sold nearly 100 refrigerators and air conditioners. Many customers who buy air conditioners still buy fans because if they only use air conditioners, it is quite expensive."

In the fan market, the average price of a steam fan is from 2 to 2.3 million VND per product, while the price of a mist fan is "softer" at around 1.5 to 1.9 million VND. The fan lines that are considered to be the most "attractive" to users are the Kangaroo fan, the Sunhouse mist fan and the Asia standing fan. Many families have chosen to buy this cooling fan to save electricity and meet the need for flexible use in not too large spaces. The market for cooling equipment is quite rich and abundant, however, after-sales service is also an issue that "customers" are concerned about. For genuine products, there is a team of warranty staff to ensure after-sales service.

It is worth mentioning that when buying electrical appliances, everyone is at risk of buying fake or poor quality goods.
