Demand for clean water in summer increases by more than 20%

(Baonghean.vn) - It is forecasted that this summer the demand for clean water will increase by 20%, so Nghe An Water Supply Joint Stock Company has a suitable production plan to meet people's needs.

In the first 4 months of 2017, the Water Supply Joint Stock Company consumed nearly 7.1 million m3 of water, of which Vinh City consumed more than 5.1 million m3, the Western region consumed more than 1 million m3... With the goal of safely operating the water supply system, ensuring continuous, stable water supply, safe and quality water supply and increasing the rate of households using clean water that meets standards, in the first 4 months of 2017, the Company had 2,000 more water customers, bringing the total number to nearly 110,000 customers.

Currently entering the peak season for water use and according to forecasts, this summer the demand for clean water of customers will increase by 20%. Nghe An Water Supply Joint Stock Company has a plan to maintain, repair, install additional equipment and machinery, prepare adequate materials and chemicals, increase water supply hours and install additional booster pump stations.

Along with that, there is a timely solution at the local water shortage point by using tanker trucks to supply water to the people. Currently, the Company uses raw water from Lam River so it can proactively produce clean water and satisfy the needs of the people in the summer of 2017.
