According to a survey on Google Trends, searches for products related to cooling and sun protection increased dramatically on June 3-4.
Most of the products have reached a peak in terms of searches in the past 7 days. The demand for these products has increased sharply as the Northern region, especially Hanoi, entered a severe heat wave. Accordingly, on the afternoon of June 3, the temperature in the center of Hanoi reached 41.5 degrees Celsius - the highest level since 1971. Ha Dong station recorded 42 degrees Celsius, surpassing the record level in 2008.

Refrigeration and household electrical products with heat-resistant properties recorded the most obvious spike in searches. Air conditioners peaked at 12 noon on Saturday. By noon on June 4, the number of people searching tended to break the previous day's record. Similarly, steam fans were searched the most at 11 am on June 3 and continued to be searched a lot. Electric fans alone had two spikes in search volume this week, at noon on June 2 and June 3 respectively. However, the record level in the past 7 days for this keyword was at 12 noon on Saturday.
