Brakes

The brakes are the most important part to check when the rainy season comes. This part directly affects the safety of the driver and passengers in the car. When the rainy season comes, the road will be more slippery than the dry season. Therefore, the driver needs to ensure that the brakes are still working effectively to avoid unfortunate accidents when driving in the rain and storm.

Tires

Tires are the part of the vehicle that is in direct contact with the road surface. In rainy and stormy weather, the road surface becomes slippery, the tire must have enough tread, not too worn and the drainage groove must be at least 3mm deep. Worn tires can significantly reduce the ability to grip the road, increase the risk of skidding on wet roads and easily cause accidents.

The wipers help the driver have good visibility when driving in the rain. If the wipers show signs of deterioration such as cracks, wear, or hardened rubber, the driver should replace them immediately.

Car lights

On rainy days, the weather is often cloudy and lacks light, significantly reducing visibility. Therefore, vehicle lights not only help drivers see the road clearly but also identify and signal the location to surrounding vehicles. Drivers need to ensure that all vehicle lights (headlights, turn signals, taillights, brake lights, reverse lights, fog lights, daytime running lights) are working properly to ensure safety when driving during the rainy season.
