- Youth
Kaity Nguyen was the biggest disappointment for silver screen fans when she missed out on the Best Actress award at theVietnam Film FestivalRecently. Beautiful and dynamic, Kaity Nguyen is confident, showing her ability when acting alongside many experienced names without being "nervous".
In “Gai gia lam chieu 5 - Nhung cuoi doi hoang gia”, Kaity Nguyen plays Ly Linh, the youngest 25-year-old sister, beautiful, intelligent, sharp with ambitions for power, wanting to sit on the chair at the Emperor's tower; and to achieve the goal, she must get the phoenix robe Phuong Hoang Tam Vi that the eldest sister Ly Le Ha owns and preserves. Ly Linh must confront two sisters who are notorious antique dealers, Ly Le Ha (People's Artist Le Khanh), Ly Le Hong (People's Artist Hong Van). 3 years ago, Kaity Nguyen had a dream start with the main role (Linh Dan) in a film that broke the Vietnamese film revenue record (169 billion VND), "Em chua 18" by director Le Thanh Son. At the 20th Vietnam Film Festival, the film won the Golden Lotus Award and actress Kaity Nguyen won the Best Actress Award.
After that, Kaity continued to act in one more film (“Papa’s Soul, Daughter’s Skin”) before entering the film “Blood Moon Party” as Kathy, Linh’s “wife” (played by Kieu Minh Tuan). Kaity Nguyen, with her advantages in appearance and talent, will certainly be a name that will be mentioned a lot in the future.
Maturity
OnefaceNo longer young but not old, at the peak of acting, Thu Trang is affectionately called "Miss Comedy Village" by the audience. With a unique appearance, Thu Trang acts very charmingly, colorfully and says lines that make the audience laugh out loud. In "Blood Moon Party", Thu Trang plays the role of Quynh, a woman who has to live under the shadow of her patriarchal husband, always waiting for her husband's opinion before speaking. But when "the water breaks the bank", Quynh rises up and reveals all her personality. Or in the movie "Chi Muoi Ba 2: 3 days of life and death", Thu Trang vividly transforms into the character of "Big Sister" who was thought to have "put down her sword and retired" forever, now has to reappear to protect her juniors in the underworld. Trang's good point is that she does not limit herself to one role, one type of character personality, but always finds ways to change the color...
Now Trang also takes on the role of producer in some films, similar to the path that "action girl" Ngo Thanh Van has taken.
And other hopes
That is the “muse” Truc Anh in the role of Ha Lan in the movie “Mat biec” and Min Min in “Ngoc oi tuoi 17”. Truc Anh’s acting contributed to the success of the movie “Mat biec” which achieved high revenue and also helped her gain the trust of director Victor Vu to invite her to another role in “Thien than ho mang”.
Phuong Anh Dao, born in 1992, made an impression in 2018 when she played the role of Ha in the independent film "Nham mat thay mua" by director Cao Thuy Nhi, then the main role in the films "Em gai mua", "Chang vo cua em"...
