Kim Yo Jong, 30, is Kim Jong Un's younger sister. Like her brother, she studied in Switzerland. In October, Kim Jong Un appointed her to North Korea's top decision-making body, replacing her aunt.
Kim Yo Jong now serves as one of her brother's closest aides, managing the North Korean leader's schedule, bodyguards, and meetings. Kim Yo Jong is even considered an "iron hand in velvet gloves".
Kim Sul Song
Kim Sul Song is Kim Jong Un's older sister. Sul Song, 43, is a "very powerful woman" who was once a member of the leadership. However, it is currently unclear whether she has "stepped aside or is operating behind the scenes".
According to Michael Madden - Director of North Korea Leadership Watch and a scholar at the US-Korea Institute at Johns Hopkins SAIS, Sul Song is the only daughter from the "official marriage" of the late North Korean President Kim Jong Il with Ms. Kim Yong Suk.
Sul Song served as her father's interpreter and close aide. She is said to have handled his travel logistics until 2008.

Madden describes her as a “very powerful woman.” Now in her 70s, Kyong Hui was her brother’s closest aide, head of the ruling Workers’ Party’s International Affairs Department.
According to Mr. Madden, she led negotiations with Israel in the 1990s, when the country approached North Korea about acquiring a nuclear program to defend itself against Iran.
Kim Jong Chol
Kim Jong Chol, 35, is Kim Jong Un's half-brother. Unlike his relatives, Jong Chol is not interested in politics and is a contributing writer to several newspapers in North Korea. This man only likes music and movies, and is a fan of singer Eric Clapton.
