Nghe An players choose to stay at Nam Dinh Green Steel

In the past, the Thien Truong Stadium team was very picky about players from Nghe An. Throughout the history of Thanh Nam football team, their habit was to only use players who grew up in their training center and had registered residence in Nam Dinh and neighboring provinces such as Thai Binh, Ha Nam or Hai Phong.
However, recently, with the decline in the quality of the training center, Nam Ha Nam Dinh Pharmacy and now Nam Dinh Green Steel have had to recruit players from many places. And there are quite a few players from Nghe An who have played for the Thien Truong Stadium team.
Specifically, the 2021 season is Ho Van Tu, the 2022 season is Pham Manh Hung, the 2023 season is Tran Nguyen Manh, Hoang Van Khanh, Ho Khac Ngoc and Ngo Hoang Thinh. All are products of the Song Lam Nghe An training center, the most qualified and successful training center of Vietnamese football.
To prepare for the 2024 season, Thanh Nam football team quickly completed the contract with versatile player Tran Van Cong. Although he grew up from the training center of Hanoi Club and spent many years with Hong Linh Ha Tinh, Tran Van Cong is from Nghe An (Nam Dan district).
Thus, up to this point, there are a total of 5 Nghe An players on the payroll of Nam Dinh Green Steel, after Ho Van Tu and Pham Manh Hung left one after another. The number of Nghe An players of Nam Dinh Green Steel is only less thanLam River Nghe An, Hong Linh Ha Tinh and soon possibly Quang Nam.
It is no coincidence that Nghe An players are favored by Thanh Nam football team. Simply, their presence has contributed significantly to the overall achievements of Nam Dinh Steel Blue in recent seasons. The 5th place in V.League 2023 of coach Vu Hong Viet and his team is clear proof.
Center back Hoang Van Khanh is the "steel shield" in defense, Ho Khac Ngoc is the "conductor" in midfield and Tran Nguyen Manh is the "spider man" in goal.
