There are many very small details inside the car that possess extremely useful functions and features that few people think about. Maintenance for these details is quite important, but when maintaining them, they are often not paid attention to.

Hood lock
The car hood lock is to lock and hold the hood, but once it malfunctions, it may prevent the hood from opening, or more dangerously, if this locking mechanism does not hold firmly when the car is running on the highway, there is a risk of a dangerous accident due to the hood flying up and even falling off.
Door lock part
The door lock is a safety locking mechanism to protect the driver and the passengers in the car. Designed to be located in the door panel and inside the door panel, it is susceptible to moisture, rainwater and dust. Therefore, if not maintained, it can cause the lock to jam or require a lot of force when closing. This will quickly reduce the life of the door lock and can cause a lot of trouble if one "good" day the door can no longer be locked.
Seats
Nowadays, electric seats and electric heating are no longer a luxury in a car. However, these modern seats can have problems during operation due to moisture and dust, sticking to them for a long time will increase friction when sliding, leading to overloading the operating system, and worst of all, getting stuck, causing damage to the control system.
Door hinges
In fact, some hinges use iron, aluminum or plastic bushings and need to be lubricated regularly. Due to the operation and location where water and dust often stick, the hinges become "stiff" when opening and closing, making noise. If the bushings wear out over time, the car door will sag.
Therefore, the maintenance and care of this seemingly small detail is quite important. Not only the door but all other details with hinge mechanisms should also be properly maintained and cared for.
Although the above details are not the most important parts of the car, they provide safety and comfort when operating the car, especially for "old" cars.
Maintenance and care for them are not too complicated. For these details, car owners only need to buy a box of lubricating grease, a bottle of lubricating and anti-rust spray along with a brush and a cleaning cloth to be able to "take care" of their beloved car.
The first thing to do is to thoroughly clean the part to be serviced, then dry it, spray it with lubricant and anti-rust agent and finally apply more "cow grease" if necessary.
