The 2018 Chevrolet Colorado Centennial is an iconic pickup truck that celebrates 100 years of Chevrolet trucks and pickups, marking Chevrolet's legacy of innovation and improvement.

1. One-Ton 1918

The first Chevrolet production truck was inspired by the vehicles used in factories to transport parts. It was a prime example of the form-follows-function philosophy.

The car features a rolling chassis, open cab, inline 4-cylinder engine and open body frame that allows customers to install different body types according to their own purposes.

2. International Series LD 1929

The 1929 model was one of the first Chevrolet trucks to feature a closed cab, setting the stage for the interior design we see today. It was also during these generations of trucks that Chevrolet began to introduce a wider range of color options.

3. 3100 Series 1947

It is one of the most iconic designs in the history of the automobile industry - the epitome of the classic Chevrolet truck. It was such a step forward that advertisers coined the phrase “Advanced Design” because nothing before it was so big, strong and sleek.

4. 3124 Series Cameo Carrier 1955

Known as the Task Force truck, the Cameo Carrier is Chevrolet’s first Fleetside design. The bed, cab, and fender surfaces are integrated into a single unit, giving the vehicle an elegant overall look.

This was also the first Chevrolet truck to feature a seamless design, representing the golden age of American automotive design and decoration.

5. Apache 3100 Series 1958

The Task Force model is one of Chevrolet's most iconic vehicles of more than a century. This light-duty truck was part of the first truck line to feature air conditioning, electric steering, and electric brakes.

6. C/K 1500 1988

The C/K1500 was the first truck to feature aerodynamic design. This generation of trucks was a huge leap forward in design, looking very advanced for its time. Even 40 years later, the model still looks very modern and sophisticated.

7. Silverado 1500LT Z71 1999

This was the first generation to use the Silverado name and introduced many modern design elements that many customers would immediately associate with current Chevrolet truck designs. It was also the first vehicle in the auto industry to feature a three-piece chassis, which was stronger than its predecessors.

8. Colorado 2003

This historic model redefined the standard of a mid-size pickup truck with its combination of style and performance. The 2003 Colorado was the first generation Colorado produced at the Rayong plant in Thailand.

9. Silverado 1500 2007

Simple, modern and powerful design with large fenders and a smooth body, this is a revolution of Chevrolet trucks in creating a unique identity with a very different design of the front and rear of the vehicle.

10. Colorado 2017

This is Chevrolet's most popular mid-size pickup truck today. Made in Thailand for the Southeast Asian market, the Colorado has a fresh design, tough performance even on harsh off-road roads, and a refined interior, making it ideal for work and play.

11. Colorado Centennial Edition 2018

Created to celebrate 100 years of Chevrolet trucks and pickups, it features special Chevrolet heritage emblems embossed on the interior floor mats, a bed spray, and 100th Anniversary badging inspired by the colors and designs of early Chevrolet trucks.

Based on the 2018 Colorado High Country and LTZ models, the 2018 Colorado Centennial Edition will be available in Vietnam from November 27.
