(Baonghean.vn) - Going to schoolis the obsession of millions of students and parents around the world when having to overcome a risky journey.
According to UNESCO, over the past five years, progress in building roads to schools has stalled. Many areas do not have paved roads, and frequent flooding is a factor in children dropping out of school.
The solutions may sound simple: build roads and bridges, buy buses and hire drivers. However, lack of funding and recurring natural disasters in many countries make implementing these solutions difficult.
The following photos will help readers better understand the difficult paths that many children have to go through to access an advanced education.
