(Baonghean.vn) - In 2023, despite many difficulties, significantly affecting people's lives as well as the activities of the Propaganda sector, the entire sector has promoted a sense of responsibility, actively innovated working methods and achieved outstanding results in many fields.
Contribute significantly to the implementation of socio-economic development tasks
The outstanding mark of the Propaganda sector in the whole province in 2023 is that the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department advised the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee to issue 17 plans, 1 circular, 1 project to deploy and direct the implementation of important tasks; successfully completed 92/92 tasks set out in the 2023 propaganda work program and 10/10 tasks in the field of propaganda according to the Working Program of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee. During the year, the propaganda system in the whole province continued to play a key role in advising the Party Committee to summarize and review 15 resolutions and directives of the Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee in the field of propaganda work, ensuring quality and progress, after summarizing, orienting many important policies, suitable for the new situation.
In ideological and political work, the propaganda system from the province to the grassroots has effectively overcome objective difficulties, organized propaganda, provided official information, oriented public opinion in law enforcement, implemented socio-economic development plans, major policies, key projects, especially propaganda to create an atmosphere and a vibrant emulation movement throughout the Party to implement Resolution No. 39-NQ/TW dated July 18, 2023 of the Politburo on building and developing Nghe An province to 2030, with a vision to 2045. The whole sector has proposed many solutions to enhance forecasting of complex issues occurring in the area to have appropriate approaches and solutions to the reality of each period. Diversify forms of communication, spread positive information to cadres, party members and people. Thanks to that, many hot and sensitive issues have been actively processed by the whole industry, and information has been consulted and proposed to the Party Committee leaders, promptly directing and orienting ideological work at each time, contributing significantly to the implementation of socio-economic development tasks in the whole province.
Focus on research, closely follow effective implementation, ensure the roadmap for action programs to implement the resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels in the field of propaganda. Promote the role of the standing agency to celebrate major holidays of the country, sectors and localities in 2023. The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department has compiled 221 periodic thematic and field reports; issued 7 guidelines, 29 plans, 568 official dispatches directing and urging the implementation of tasks in propaganda work. Inspection and supervision of the implementation of directives and resolutions have been strengthened. In 2023, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department organized 3 inspection teams and 6 supervision teams to lead, direct and organize the implementation of the Party's policies and guidelines, resolutions, directives and regulations of Party committees at all levels. Through inspection and supervision, it has helped the Party committees correctly assess the situation, detect a number of shortcomings and limitations in the organization of implementation; From there, take measures to promptly direct and rectify existing problems and limitations; promptly advise the Provincial Party Standing Committee to take measures to remove difficulties and obstacles, and lead and direct the resolution of arising issues.
The work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints with many solutions has been effectively enhanced. During the year, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee advised the organization of a preliminary review of 5 years of implementing Resolution No. 35-NQ/TW, dated October 22, 2018 of the 12th Politburo on strengthening the protection of the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints in the new situation; responding to and creating a widespread influence on the 3rd Political Essay Writing Contest to Protect the Party's Ideological Foundation, with more than 4,600 entries in the whole province. In the Contest, Nghe An province was honored to be one of the 15 best collectives nationwide and had 4 individuals winning prizes, including 2 B prizes, 1 C prize and 1 Encouragement prize...
The work of orienting press information in the province continues to have many innovations, effectively orienting issues of public concern. Coordinating with sectors and press agencies to promptly handle issues raised by the press, in 2023, 45 issues raised by the press were handled, without backlog. Synthesizing more than 2,000 issues of public concern, of which more than 450 issues were consulted and proposed to competent authorities for effective handling.
The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department has advised on building a special topic on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in 2023.on culture and building a new socialist culture to meet the requirements of integration and development, published 11,000 copies and distributed them to 1,423 grassroots Party organizations and 8,403 affiliated Party cells throughout the province. Many localities and units have paid attention to choosing effective ways to spread Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style and suitable typical examples.

Advise Party committees to lead and direct propaganda work areas to ensure quality and progress. Innovate the content, form and methods of propaganda work; "choose" work with focus and key points, suitable for each stage, time and new situation. Develop a work program for 2024 that is close to the specific situation of the locality and the industry.
Strengthen coordination with state management agencies at the same level to do a good job of advising on ideological issues in law enforcement, implementing socio-economic development plans, and solving outstanding issues of public concern. Improve the ability to forecast, be quick, timely, and effective in orienting information work, grasping public opinion; and bring information to the grassroots. Continue to innovate and improve the quality of political theory and Party History work, especially innovating the content and teaching methods, and improving the quality of political theory education at the District Political Center. Strengthen the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against false and hostile information and viewpoints.
