What is a reasonable level of sugar consumption?
Each person has a different weight, height and tolerance, so there is no suitable sugar consumption level for everyone. However, according to the Nutrition Pyramid, each person should eat no more than 500g of sugar in a month, if divided equally, no more than 20g per day (equivalent to 2 tablespoons or 4 teaspoons in Vietnam and equivalent to 2 teaspoons (5 ml) in foreign countries).
However, not every day has to be divided equally like that, some days eat less, some days eat more, but each person should control the amount of sugar they put into their body, especially added sugar in soft drinks, fruit juice, candy... to limit diseases caused by sugar.
