The Nine-Compartment Temple in Chau Kim commune is a prominent destination recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as a National Historical and Cultural Monument. The temple is closely associated with the formation of the villages of the Thai ethnic group in northwestern Nghe An province in general and Que Phong district in particular. Associated with the monument is the Nine-Compartment Temple Festival, held every three years from the 14th to the 16th of the second lunar month. The Nine-Compartment Temple Festival was recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage in 2016.
